LoA has unfortunately suffered a heavy blow during an attack. What happened was a G-mod account to delete and destroy the site. It is necessary that members take all precautions to protect the site and prevent something like that from ever happening again.
How can I help?
-All it takes is a good password. Make sure you use a good combination of letters, numbers and symbols when creating your password. If you can't remember it, then save it to a notepad on your computer.
-Sometimes it happens and things are lost or accidentally deleted. Sometimes people purposely delete it (such as a hacker attack on the site). The best thing for you to do is make a back up copy of your character profile and save that to your computer. If there is anything else important that you post on the board, you might also want to back that up as well.
-If you ever hear about or witness an attack on another forum site, especially a proboards site, then it is important for you to tell the staff everything you know. If you have the IP address of the hacker, or anything at all like that, then please pass that information onto the site staff.
As part of the community, it is important for you to help protect it. This site is made to have fun, but there are people out there who's entire life is focussed on ruining other people's fun. We do have to protect ourselves from them, so please help us protect the site by doing those simple things.
